Where nature and art meet!

I had been burning some images on egg gourds for quite sometime, especially around Christmas because the egg gourds make beautiful and unique ornaments.  My daughter sent  me a strange artificial tree that gave rise to a new and permanent home for the egg gourds.  It turned out rather interesting and gave me incentive to add more gourds to the collection.  The bird in the left foreground is one that I made from a Cuban sweet potato (boniato).

Thank you Lo, I have to admit that most of my work takes lots of time, so much so which causes many of them to be one-of-a-kind.
