Where nature and art meet!
The Rutabaga Trio was carved from rutabagas bought at the local foodstore. They were originally a little bigger than a baseball. For some strange reason it appears that rutabagas will shink at room temperature without spoiling. The before and after views make for a fun conversation piece. I’m experimenting with more of these vegetables. I was surprised to learn that rutabagas are a cross between a cabbage and a turnip. Note the before and after photos below:
