Where nature and art meet!

I had for sometime wanted to construct a jetliner by using gourds.   I found that a particular banana gourd was quite suitable for the fuselage.   The rest of the aircraft could be fabricated without much difficulty.  The engines were made from jewelry gourds. I flattened the vertical and horizontal stabilizers by soaking them and then sandwiching them under pressure while baking in the oven.  There are 14 wheels on the aircraft which were made from a 1/4″ dowel rod.
