Couch Potato and Friends

This was my first attempt to carve and dehydrate an Irish potato.  It had a weird shape that caught my interest.  The two other fellows on the sofa with the couch potato are carved rutabagas.  The sofa was made of several pieces of black walnut and is about 8″ long.  The cushions are removable.

In checking out some egg gourds I ended up on your blog and got completely lost in your gourd world! Your work is great and your sense of humor terrific! That mushroom back there was hilarious and I kept checking for updates. Love your gourd people, apples and these three cronies. Oh the four fruit fly ladies are glorious! Thanks for taking the time to put up your blog – I will pass along the link.

Thank you Rita for taking the time to see some of my art and make such nice comments. It means a lot to me.
